CINCO K MAYO starts and finishes on Allen Street in the downtown Webster Groves municipal parking lot. The route departs from the parking garage by turning right on West Lockwood then makes a left turn nearly one mile later at Sherwood Drive. Enjoy a scenic 5K course that wanders through the beautiful neighborhoods of Webster Groves. Participants return to West Lockwood Avenue then finish near the start line. The first half will be a mix of rolling hills then mostly downhill to the finish line where a breakfast burrito and refreshing margarita are waiting just for YOU!

A water station will be located near the halfway point to help keep you hydrated and happy. Our enthusiastic volunteers will clap, cheer and jump for joy as you flash, jog, or stroll by.

CINCO K MAYO is professionally timed by Big River Running. The course is not certified at this time, but is accurately measured to be a 5K distance.

What about that delicious breakfast burrito and beverage?
What better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than to combine running and a festive atmosphere?! CINCO K MAYO will be a fun and exciting event that features a scenic route through the beautiful neighborhoods in Webster Groves. Upon finishing you are invited to enjoy a tasty breakfast burrito and refreshing “beverage” served by our friends at Hammerstones. Your registration covers one serving of specialty food and drink, but you may pre-order additional tickets.

For those “on the run” following the race, grab and go bags will be available with a bottle of water, banana and Clif Bar. Spectators are invited to celebrate for a nominal fee, and you can purchase additional tickets in advance for family and friends. Please note: your choice of food can only be one or the other - a breakfast burrito and beverage OR grab and go bag. Nonalcoholic beverages will be available for those underage participants or anyone not wanting alcohol.

Who is Hammerstones?

Hammerstone's has a long standing tradition since 1884 and is located on Nineth Street in Soulard. Cory and Jason have been avid supporters of CINCO K MAYO as well as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Cory is a cancer survivor and unselfishly gives back to our cause. We're so pleased and excited to partner with our friends at Hammerstones. If you haven't experienced Hammerstone's live music, their great food and awesome patio atmosphere then you need to give them a try.

That’s perfectly fine! CINCO K MAYO is a great event for beginners and experienced athletes alike.

Can I run with IPods, mp3 players, or headphones?
These devices are not banned from CINCO K MAYO, however, Race To Cure Lymphoma strongly discourages the use of these items for safety reasons. Besides – don’t you want to hear all of our volunteers and the spectators cheering just for YOU?!

Can my family and friends come to the race?

Absolutely! Bring your friends and family to cheer YOU on – better yet get them to run or walk with you. They can also purchase breakfast tickets on race day if the urge for a savory breakfast burrito is tempting their taste buds.

Family and friends from Team Marty traveled from as far away as New Jersey and Philadelphia to celebrate this day with Marty. He recently completed a final round of chemo and was ready to resume his training. Race To Cure Lymphoma was honored to share this memorable day with Marty and his awesome team.
